My name is Lauren Kolb. I am the Director and Academic Principal of The Academy of Hypnotherapy. I am a highly qualified senior hypnotherapist with over 17 years’ experience running my own busy hypnotherapy practice FyldeHypnotherapy, as well as directing, managing and teaching at The Academy. 

I am passionate about hypnotherapy and when I did my own training many years ago, I learned not just how how to help clients change the way they think, feel and behave, but also how I could transform my own mind and my own life. Students on the course also experience this for themselves and their lives.

Qualifications

I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist with the following qualifications:

  • BA (Hons)
  • Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis (Dip CAH)
  • Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD)
  • Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (PNLP)
  • Certified Smoking Cessation Specialist (Cert SCS)

Professional Memberships

I am a qualified and certified member of the following organisations:

  • The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), which is the largest, not-for-profit hypnotherapy registering organisation in the UK
  • The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), which is the largest and oldest hypnotherapy organisation in the world
  • The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which was set up by the Government to ensure high professional standards
  • A senior member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)
